Friendship Greeting Card

So after the success of my last round of greeting cards, i promised that i would create some more. At the mo, im reading several craft magazines and books and feeling very inspired!
So here is the first one ive done, its a friendship card which im dedicating to my girlies, they have been very inspiring and supportive of me and my work, also they were the ones who sent me the text for this image, which reads:

"I look at you, then look at me, without my buddies where would i be? My friends, my sisters, my shadows, my world, where would i be without the girls? Giggles and tears, smiles and laughs, late night texts and photographs. We'll be together, until our last day, best girlies forever just wont fade away."

Beautiful!

Something new. . .

Just wanted to share something slightly different!
A friend is due to have twins in a few months time, and having been learning to knit for a year now felt it was time to put the new skills to good practise! So after raiding the baby patterns in John Lewis, I have started the slog that is knitting for two!! So far, I have finshed 2 sets of booties and mittens, and about to start hats, but thought these looked soo cute I had to share them now! Hopefully she will love them!

TigerPrint Runner-Up!!

Had the greatest news this morning- one of my greeting card designs came runner-up in the Tigerprint Beautiful Traditonal card Competition! Woooo!
They chose the angels design, and the feedback was really good!

Im so chuffed right now, even though its not the overall winner, the Design Manager for Tigerprint is interested in purchasing some of the designs, lets hope mine is one of them!

So here is my pride and joy for the moment, the lovely angel card:

You can see the overall winner, and the other runner-ups HERE.

Website Update

Now that I have lovely new work to show, I've started the slog that is updating my portfolio- its harder than it looks! But while going through my various folders of work, I came across my copies of Meow Magazine that I helped create and submit to during my last year of my degree course. They were such a learning experience and a joy to do, and feel quite sad to have handed it over to the students still at uni, and feel they need a good showing off! So I've updated my website with an added page showing off the first ever issues, giving them the glory they deserve! Take a look!

So three cheers to the 1st print, and to the many more i hope to come!

3 of my fellow collective members are interviewed for it - Maddy Sargent, Laura Alvarado, and Chay Morris! Wooooo!!

You do briefly see my wall in the clip - its a case of blink and you miss it! But it was a great show, look forward to the many more me and my collective have planned!
